Would I Be Healthy Forever?

Health is Wealth. Without a good health, no matter how much money you earn or how rich you are, you will not be able to enjoy it. Imagine that you are a billionaire, but you spent half of your life lying on a patient bed, how would you be happy? Or if you are earning big bucks, but you are spending what you earn on medicine, treatment to keep yourself alive…

So, it brings us to the topic that we will be talking about, “Would I be healthy forever?”. Based on Department of Statistics Singapore, the total life expectancy is about 83.6 age. (See below source from Singapore Department of Statistics).

Over the years, people in Singapore are living much longer but does that mean that they are healthy? Definition of healthy is in a good physical or mental condition. But sadly, things are not what we wanted. Although people are living longer, but people are not living better. Most elderly are suffering from chronic/old age conditions like High Blood pressure, High Cholesterol, Dementia, etc. So ageing population would be a problem to the society in the future, or probably it had already happened.

So how can Bazi help us in terms of health? If we would know how to read our own Bazi, we will be able to identify potential health problems ahead in terms of health. Is just like Pre-Health Screening but minus off the medical equipment and tests. Understanding our Bazi chart would help us to know the likelihood what will happens to our body before going for our annual health screening. But of course, we will always advice our clients / friends to go for General Practitioner / Specialist if they are really not feeling well. Because we are not trained Doctor, for exact diagnosis and treatments, we still have to go through the specialist.

In Chinese metaphysics or Traditional Chinese Medicine practise, we will always look at the 5 elements (五行) – Earth, Metal, Water, Wood, Fire. The human body just like the universe, is made up of the five elements. Below chart shows how each element are related to our human organs.

If our 5 elements are not balanced, there will be areas that we will need to take care of. So ideally, we hope that our 5 elements are balanced so that we wont get sick easily. But there are external factors like 10 years luck pillar, annual luck pillar that will cause our 5 elements to be unbalanced. (either some elements are too weak or strong).

As mentioned, if the elements are too weak or there is lack of elements. The problem may surface if there is a clash of either Heavenly Stems or Earthly Branch or both.

Below is the clash between Earthly Branches and the relationship between the 5 elements.

Below are a few samples of the natal chart for explanation

  • The chart below belongs to a woman who is working as a car agent salesperson. The weakest element for her will be Earth and hence she will need to take care of her digestive organs, stomach, mouth (refer to diagram above). Because she is doing sales and hence there were times that she skips her meals which causes digestive problems. So when will her health problem that is related to Earth be more prominent? If you look at her 6th and 7th 10th year pillar as below (which is her 57 years old until 77 years old), Wood (Jia and Yi) is at the Heavenly Stem. Wood counter Earth and hence it will cause her stomach, digestive organs to become serious.

  • The below chart is one of my clients who had suffered from Liver problem since she was born. (Note: Permission had been given by my client before I posted this case study). Her weakest element is Wood and hence Metal is her “greatest enemy”. In her 1st 10 year pilar, is Geng Xu (Metal Dog), Dog which is the Earth produce Metal and hence strengthen the Metal to counter the Wood.
As you can see from the natal chart, the year pillar which also represents her childhood years is a Ding Mao (Fire Rabbit) which also justify why she is in her poor health during her early times.
